After 12 years of Doctor Des Fernandes' (a prominent plastic surgeon), micro-needling research, we are proud to introduce this wonderfully exciting procedure to our salon menu. The principle of Rolling is that the “micro-needles” puncture the horny layer of the epidermis. This injury, minute as it might seem, does cause some localised damage stimulating the body to send in a healing brigade of  collagen manufacturing growth hormones. This is the body’s natural response to healing a wound, even though the wound is miniscule. Once the epidermis  layer has been breached, the active ingredients in the skin care products can reach into the depths of the skin about 10,000 times more effectively than by simply applying the products topically. The higher the levels of vitamin A and vitamin C that can penetrate into the lower layers of the epidermis, the more collagen can be made. Therefore assisting natural repairing of fine lines and wrinkles.
